New Lawn

We also have laid many lawns over the years, both large and small. This large garden in West Chiltington was levelled by a machine before raking and returfing. The two lorry loads of turf were placed in piles by a specialist forklift.

Putting Green

A putting green laid in West Sussex. This has to be a very level for obvious reasons, so is laid on a level sharp sand base. The lawn is a special turf from Rowlawn and needs special care.

Turfing & Terracing

These pictures show a large lawn in the Rodean area. The old lawn was stripped off (on left) and then we terraced the garden to give new stepped level areas. Finally the new lawn areas were returfed. The contract involved five people plus machinery and over 60 hardwood railway sleepers imported from France!
