Large Koi Pond in West Sussex

The pictures above show three construction stages of a Koi Pond in West Sussex, from digging out the pond with a mini-digger to moving the heavy rubber liner over the excavated hole. The final picture shows the waterfall and finished pond. The filter system is hidden behind the waterfall.

Large Pond

This pond in Rottingdean shows a former swimming pool that was renovated at a later stage with a paved edge and new waterfall.

Large Pond - Ringmer

This is a pond in Ringmer that was a silted up natural clay pond. We dug it out deeper (a very messy job) and relined it with Firestone rubber pond liner. After filling the liner edge was cut and hidden under the turf.

Pond & Decking

As part of the pond contract we built a deck walkway around the pond with an overhanging seating area. A roped guardrail was later put on for safety.

Installing New Pond Liner.

The left picture above shows a new liner being fitted for a pond in Whitesmith East Sussex. The pond was re-paved around the edge and had a new pump/filter system installed. The right picture shows the old pond being drained using a high volume petrol pump.

Pond with Wooden Edge.

This is a new pond designed to fit in with an existing summerhouse situated in Littlehampton. The carpet on the lawn in the left picture is to protect the lawn from the digger tracks. An unusual edge of wood set in a concrete pad was chsoen. Finally a bridge was made at the back to give a focal point. The filter system was hidden in the summerhouse.
